At the weekend we attended the new year’s general assembly and club dinner of the National Association of Leonberger Breeders. Also the results of the “Best Leonberger of the Year 2013” and “Best Breeder of the Year 2013” competitions have been announced. We were very happy, because our Casey achieved the distinguished 4th place in category “Adult Female”. We were really proud of her breeders, Kati and István too, because they got the 2nd and 3rd place in the “Best Breeder of the Year” competition. Many congratulations to them and all the participants! 🙂

We had a successful weekend, we were participated with Casey in the first two days of the Budapest 4xCACIB show. We were very proud of her, she was amazing in the ring on both days. In spite of strong rivals Casey got Excellent 1, CAC, Res.CACIB both times. So the show season of this year started superb, it will continue soon – hopefully with similar successes.

We wish a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of our dear visitors!

We got Casey’s screening results yesterday, what we were waiting for really excitedly. We went to Budapest to the veterinary science centre at November, where Dr. Attila Boda took x-ray of Casey’s hips and elbows. And the results are free in both case. This means, that we have to attend only a breeding exam, that Casey can give birth to beautiful puppies. 🙂

At the weekend we were in Komárom at the 2xCACIB dog shows, where Casey accomplished great. At Saturday Casey got CAC, CACIB titles from Milivoje Urosevic (SRB) in intermediate class, and at Sunday she got Res,CAC, Res.CACIB from Hans Bierwolf (A). The show season of this year ended for Casey with this event.

Today we participated on 2xCAC in Budapest with Casey and we had a fantastic day.

I’m happy to announce that I established officially the Bear from Castle Leonberger Kennel. I created our website too, where you can find every current information and happening about the kennel.
